Has anyone contracted with a good service in the EU to fulfill your EU Representative requirement for GDPR?
Infusionsoft says they’re using VeraSafe for their business, but that doesn’t cover us - we need our own EU Representative if we have EU customers.
VeraSafe charges $2700/year. Seems excessive.
Actually - as I study further, it looks like only a few business types are subject to the requirement to have an EU Representative.
Most of us in this forum will not be subject to it - agree?
I think this is a great topic, and would love to hear what others think about Article 27, but I’d like to steer the thread away from establishing a “consensus interpretation” of a particular law. I’ll be posting a link to our GDPR Checklist tomorrow which will include our recommendation on the topic of Data Protection Officers.
