Set referral record on contact with REST api

Hello, is there a way to set the referrer on a contact, or add a referral record to a contact using the REST API?

There is not, thanks for bringing this up and I added it to our backlog.

One year later I come to this post with the same question/issue—I cannot set a referral partner record on a contact record with the REST API. Reading other posts, I understand that you are constantly updating the API. Is there some sort of roadmap we can view that might indicate to us where in the queue this particular feature request is as well as what’s ahead of it?
