Possible to add Infusionsoft tags by clicking a button from a wordpress page?

Wondering if anyone has had any success with creating a way to add Infusionsoft tags to a contact by clicking a link on their website?

So, I like the idea behind the question, but the challenge is that if someone is on your website, the HOW would Infusionsoft know who they are in order to tag them?

Ya know what I mean? If we want to run actions when someone clicks a link, then we need to know who they are.

Here’s one option, but it would only be able to apply a tag IF the person has already been cookied in Infusionsoft:
