Outlook e-mail service

Hello.

After upgrading to Outlook 2016 I get .pst file error: The local pst data file is missing.
I tried to search from google but no answer.
Any help would be appriciated.

Hi Eric,

I haven’t seen this error before. After a little research, this filetype seems to be the root of how Outlook stores coppies of messages, calendar invites, and other elements stored in your Microsoft Outlook. My search results pulled up a number of spammy articles, and definitions of .pst.

You may need to take this to the next level and reach out to Microsoft support, as there appears there may be an issue with the upgrade to '16

In the ideal case, you make regular backups of all your data and you have included your PST files in those backups. In that case, you can restore the missing and corrupt pst-files to their original location and start Outlook again.
If you don’t have any recent backups, then you might still be able to recover some or all of your data via previous versions.

I can recommend you regarding a third party software that is Recovee Outlook PST Repair because I have used it and the software is working as per need. If by any mistakes you have deleted the PST file then this software can recover and restore the PST file. This software can save up to 2 GB of a file. It can also convert the PST file into EML, MSG, TXT, MHTML and many more.
