Multiple email lists--opt in opt out

I’d like to be able to let contacts be in multiple lists–marketing, product update, newsletters. I don’t know if that’s possible, or how to do it if it is.

I just had a regular client opt out of my email. But I don’t know if it’s just the marketing emails he wants out of, or whether he wants to end our relationship. I can do that one at a time, but giving the choice up front seems more efficient.

You’ll need to create an “Email preference” center.
Use a Web Form and list the various lists or topics.

So, you can have a Web Form that has 4 checkboxes:

What are you intersted in:

  • Marketing
  • Sales
  • Newsletters
  • Account Info Only

Then, remove all tags for these categories, then apply the ones that they selected.
