Inexpensive web hosting

I need to set up a WordPress website for testing purposes. Does anyone have a favorite cheap host (not free). I’m thinking one of these would be a good choice:

  • Bluehost
  • HostGator
  • 1 and 1
  • DreamHost
  • Liquidweb
  • Siteground

I’d probably go with Bluehost. I believe Bluehost and HostGator are/were the same parent company.

@martinc,

I have my own test servers and I use A2Hosting under their VPS Turbocache system but I added some resources so I pay about $35/mo for each…It works very well and is faster than testing and developing on most “inexpensive” servers. Hey, tell them I referred you and they’ll give me a month for free lol
