How do I update a Contact to "Add Opportunity"

Hi Guys,

I am trying to find the documentation on adding a opportunity for a contact but I am not having any luck. Any suggestions as to how to update a contact and create an opportunity for him/her?

Using the add method in the data object you can create opportunity records with the Lead table.
