how do a change a field from text to dropdown
Hi Anne, if you’re talking about custom fields then the answer is “you can’t”.
Once a field has been created, the “type” is fixed. To change it to a dropdown you’ll want to create a new field of the correct type, then you can export the existing data, and reimport to the new field, and when you’re done you can delete the “text” field you had previously used.
