Essentially my question is, what is the length limit for the Groups field? I remember reading that it was ~1000 at some time but has that been increased or is it still that small?

What group fields are you referring to? Are you talking about the tag name field?
Hi @JonSmith, yeah, the comma separated Groups field on a contact. Michael already answered the question in the FB API page. It used to have a limit of around 1000 characters but that has since been changed.
