Export contact notes

I have exported all my contact data to a csv. The Notes field exported by IS actually turns out to be the ‘Person Notes’ field. My contacts also have many ‘contact notes’ which I need to export. Is there a way to export these using the interface? Alternatively can I use the API to export these? (if so please could you point me to where?)

You should be able to do this with the Task/Note Report under Admin->Reports

Thanks for the tip. I do not see this report in the admin section. Do I need to create a custom report to do this?
