Easy way to create a screencast/webcam video

A few weeks ago, I received an email from Wistia (they host all of our how-to videos in the Help Center) about a free new tool they released to make recording screencast videos easy and fast. It’s called Soapbox. I and a few others have played around with it and it’s pretty cool! We plan on releasing a few soapbox videos soon to test it out.

The gist of it is that you can record both your screen and yourself via webcam in one shot and quickly edit everything in post - in your browser (zoom in, zoom out, switch scenes, etc…) and share it quickly with others.

If you’re a software junkie like me, check it out…it’s pretty cool.

Looks cool, I’m currently addicted to Loom, it’s replaced Jing for me for all my quick videos. Aff link: https://www.useloom.com/?ref=32915

I’ve been using Open Broadcast Software (OBS) for a few years now and there is nothing better for doing raw screen recordings!
