I have created a custom field for a customer. It is a date field. I would like to set a task for the record owner to follow up with the customer 60, 30 and 7 days from the date in the custom field. These are for annual renewals. Is there a way to do that? Or is there a better way than a custom field to accomplish this?
So to do this you’d want to add contacts to a sequence, and then use FIELD Timers to countdown til the date on the contact record, at 60, 30, and 7 days before the date in that field you could create a task using this tactic, and assign it to the contact owner.
