Adding a value to opportunities

I want to add opportunities or values of various tenders we are quoting for a company. But in the add an opportunity there is no monetary column to add in the details. Yet you can search it?

The support team are saying they have no option to add how much an opportunity is worth but I am sure I have seen reports on this, this is the whole point of a CRM to track sales leads so can’t understand how you are unable to add a value of a quote except in notes. I think the support guy is wrong.

Sure there is. There’s the high/low estimate fields and the value of the expected product to sell that you should be assigning to an opp.
