One thing that the older users are getting are there users up to five with out additional charge. No new apps contain more than 2 Users included now. So you get 3 to 4 more users then all the new customers. And you get the max email limits and contact limits I believe over the new apps.

Just a couple things i wanted to point out.

Thanks for pointing this out and I can see the difference. I still feel there is something Infusionsoft can do for those that paid the upfront cost... at least we're getting something.
But why am I still being charged for the affiliate module on a monthly basis when newbies get it for free... and no one from billing will get back to me or explain this? They're quick to charge the card but slow to return the call.

I feel completely ripped off. This is unethical, and I intend on reporting this to the Better Business Bureau.

If there are any class action suits, I'm in.

Look, it's in Infusionsoft's prerogative to charge WHAT they want WHEN they want.

It's "not great" that we've all put in $5000 each to get going, only to find out now that new people don't have this restriction.

I must say, I'm not thrilled. I need the $5000 way -- way -- more now than when I started with Infusionsoft.

My business has taken an 80% hit since the economy tanked; and sorry, ISOFT, contrary to the rhetoric I cannot simply "market my way out of this."

(Or, if there is a way, I'm not figuring it out on my own. People simply aren't buying / flying.)

InfusionSoft (the product) is doing exactly what it's supposed to be doing: I'm capturing more leads, and following up with them with sequences.

But I'm not SELLING MORE.

So, long story short, yes, $5000 in cash, product or services would go a long long way to make ME personally happy right now.. (now, more than ever.)

But I'm not under the opinion that there should be any kind of lawsuit or action against Infusionsoft.

That's just me.

I am a new user. I signed up on 6/30, the last day Infusionsoft offered the program with the fee.

When July rolled around, I too was 'upset' (Ask Jeremy, he'll tell you I was more than 'Upset')
I asked for my money back and was going to go with Aweber or 1ShoppingCart or something (I was livid!). I was fortunate enough to speak with Garrett Miles on the phone for 2 hours where he offered my money back. During that time, he did a good job of 1)explaining the difference between the two programs and 2) convincing me that overall, Infusionsoft is a good, honest company to do business with.

I then read the TOA and exactly what came with the non-fee new Infusionsoft model. (And this is just the basic, not the deluxe or Pro, so we are talking a $2000 fee, not $5000 fee)

Forget the affiliate option and the fact that Infusionsoft needed to spend more time with new customers a year ago because the software was less intuitive. You can even forget the 25,000 limit (one I hope to break and talk Garrett into letting me go over without charging me extra, Lol.)The on-going support that is available to the 'grandfathered users' that is NOT available to new users that join without a fee is well worth $2000 or even $5000 alone.

I don't know if I am letting a cat out of a bag, but I have spent some time in the 2X area that has 4 modules up and 4 on the way,( Scott has done a real good job there), and found the 1st module ONLY to be worth thousands in information. Sure, if you have been IMing for a long time you might not find the information as valuable as I have; but I have purchased a lot of information on internet marketing and it's various aspects, (IE: Adwords, Autoresponders, copy, SEO, even off-line advertising and I am in 3 other forums where I pay up to $100 a month to be in), and if Infusionsoft wanted to, they could take those eight modules and break them up and sell them either in pieces or 4 day seminars, add on a pay member site and make a lot more than they are now(don't get any ideas, Garrett). If you are 'grandfathered' and not taking advantage of the '2X' area (or were not told about it and now Infusionsoft is mad at me ) you ought to ask for access. (Not the guarantee necessarily, but the course/information). It would probably cost nothing for Infusionsoft to grant grandfathered accounts access AND might help increase the activity level there with input from marketers that have been at this longer AND there just might end up being enough information that you can use there to make up for a fee that was paid 1-2 years ago.

After long and hard thought, and having been given the choice between the 2 programs, I paid the fee. Now, I might just be an idiot, (I can assure you I am not), but so far, if I got no other benefit, the information I have already digested in the 2X area has been worth the extra money.

This is good information and I too see the value in having paid the upfront fee. They have also supposedly resolved the issue of billing me for the affiliate module - but I'll have to confirm this (I should not be billed in the future and should receive a credit for July).
Now - what is the 2X area? I've never heard of this and would love to get access? Who do I talk to about this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

2X is the coaching that they threw in for the fee (I never knew they charged some for it, now I am in trouble )

A quick note on the idea of having "special offers" for users who paid the initial fees.

After spending about 10 days obsessing about this and getting angrier every time I thought about it I decided to ask for what 'I' needed. I asked, I received and I am happy.

I would suggest that for the moment, Infusion's lack of "special offers" could be a benefit. It was for me. Ask for what you need, (before they come up with some canned solution) you'll probably get it. It doesn't benefit Infusion to have unhappy users.

That seems a bit extreme. Why don't you try calling Infusion instead and seeing what they might be willing to do to make it right?

We really love our customers and will be happy to work with them to ensure they receive a satisfactory level of service (that puts it lightly), and turn them into RAVING FANS of our company.

Just as Vienna suggested, don't get upset, give your small business coach a call if you have any questions about your tenure with Infusionsoft. We're here to help you and reward you by growing your small business by leaps and bounds.
