InfusionSoft not working in Firefox (RESOLVED!) 1 Month ago

Today my InfusionSoft is a nightmare. In Firefox I get wobbly links meaning no drop down menus, no matter where I try to click it will not respond. Swell. So then I try to go to the Fusebox and it says "we need to verify your email" which is a ridiculous waste of time. I could not have used the link without being logged into my application.
So, I get the verification email, click the link and I get rewarded with a "whoops" page. Now there is a phone number which I called and sat on hold for five minutes before I gave up in disgust.
How does one get a problem reported if they cannot get into the Fusebox and why is it locked down anyway?
Is anyone else having problems in Firefox? I cannot use the application at all right now and also cannot submit a support ticket since I can't get to the idiotbox

Which version of Firefox are you using? We develop in Firefox and so the app, generally, works better in Firefox than in any other browser... So I was a bit surprised to see this post.
As for verifying your email address to log into the Fusebox. Sorry for the inconvenience of that, but it is necessary because the Fusebox runs on a completely separate system (Helpstream). And to that system, your email address is your username. We must, therefore, verify your email address or somebody else in another app could type your email address into their Support Email field in their user record and then log into the Fusebox as you. Read all of your Cases, make posts as you, etc.
Also, whenever you get the OOPS message please click the link to submit an anonymous error report. We go through those submissions regularly - they are very helpful to us in tracking down problems.
Lastly, you are able to access the Fusebox anonymously by going to help.infusionsoft.com.

UPDATE: I logged into your application and checked the logs, with which I was able to uncover the problem. For some reason, the Fusebox thought your Display Name was already in use. Do you have two applications? Did you change your Support Email recently? In any event, I fixed it for you. It turns out that the system already flagged your email as validated - despite the OOPS message. So once I fixed your Display Name for you I was able to log into the Fusebox as you. You shouldn't have any further trouble.

I have just one application and I'm the only one using it. I did start up Safari to try to use the app there, so InfusionSoft must have thought I had two users? Not sure. I did go and make sure to "log-off" the open windows in Firefox and it still gave the error I could not verify the email address because when I click the link it opens in Firefox and for whatever reason it's simply not cooperating right now. My Firefox version is 3.5.3. P.S. Thanks!

Where or how do I submit the report that my application is not working? In Firefox 3.5.3 what I'm seeing are blinking/spastic links (meaning when you try to click it blinks back and forth). There are no drop-down menus at all, and I cannot use the app at all. A screen shot doesn't show the weird behavior but I can make a mini-movie if you like?
Update: This appears to be my problem, because I'm on another site and Firefox is being flaky, so I'm going to figure out what's going on. Probably there's nothing specific to InfusionSoft after all.

Hello All, Here is part of the problem, I had the same issues, you need to go and downgrade to the firefox version 3.0 ... there is something w/ 3.5 and the outlook connector and the infusionsoft system. Just go into firefox website and search for previous versions. This should fix ur problem. Spoke w/ Justin G in support when I was having all the problems, last week, we walked through and this fixed all my problems Let me know what happens..good luck Thanks Sharon Wainscott

Uh, no, that's not necessary. It just took a restart of Firefox. I'd never go back to a previous version and their updates are fast and furious, so if there ever were a problem, you could expect it to be remedied quickly. It wasn't an InfusionSoft problem after all, just a glitch in my open Firefox browser, and easily remedied as soon as I realized what was going on.

Kathryn,
Glad to hear Firefox and Infusionsoft are working well. Our developers routinely use Firefox with the app, in addition, our support tests against IE7, IE8 and Firefox 3.0.
BUT -- Sometimes Firefox does output premature releases, where the did recently have an issue with some sites that use AJAX. Again, it didn't have a major impact on users, but impacted many Websites. I would recommend to upgrade Firefox about a month after a new release is available just to ensure defects and optimizations are fully-tested and reliable.
