Hi guys.

the long awaited wishlist integration is now in "beta" and I am struggling with which one to go with so I have started a spreadsheet comparing the 3 most viable options for my company.

I am currently using the infusion alliance plug-in, but it seems to lack a large support community unlike wishlist.

I am hoping you guys can help me fill in the blanks here...

Jon,

Sequential or Drip Content is handled based on a subscriber's registration date. You can choose days or weeks as the basis for your release schedule. This is ideal for courses, where you only want to expose content on a gradual basis. It's also a good tool to prevent a one-time subscriber from logging in, downloading your entire content and cancelling the subscription.

There is also a "magazine-type" sequential release mechanism, which is a little too complicated to explain in much detail here.

Essentially, what it does is only reveal content that you have actually paid for. If you joined in March, you would only see content from March on and none that was released prior to March.

If you skip payments in June/July and come back in August, then you will see March-thru-May content as well as August content. You will never see June and July content unless you pay for it.

Best,
Bob

PS: In your Excel sheet, you are still not showing infusionWP as handling login credentials.

I also forgot to mention that infusionWP includes an "intelligent" 1-Click upsell widget, ideal to upsell your subscribers from Bronze to Silver or Gold.

Bob,

I am currently using the infusion alliance plugin. Would it be hard to convert to your solution?

If not. Could I pay extra to make the migration smooth?

pm me so we can discuss.

Jon

Jon,

Transitions are fun and - usually - smooth.

I don't foresee any problems since the Infusion Alliance is basically a subset of infusionWP.

You will need to set up a few things on infusionWP. infusionWP uses all the automation provided by Infusionsoft to run the site on autopilot.

PM on the way. Best if you called me when you have a chance.

Best,
Bob

Hi Micah,

Long time no hear...

There's a major difference between your plugin and infusionWP in that, with your system, you need to keep adding new tags to Infusionsoft to keep up with passing time.

With infusionWP, however, the system "remembers" the date and the rest is left to the autopilot.

Best,
Bob
