Infusionsoft Community Guidelines

Welcome to the Infusionsoft Community. In order to create the best possible experience for everyone, we ask that you abide by the Infusionsoft Community Guidelines, our core “code of conduct,” in all of your activities here. We offer a diverse and robust community of users with a variety of different skills and experience. Specific areas of this community may carry additional rules, and we also expect you to review and abide by the standards of the areas you frequent.

We do not pre-screen user-generated content generally, but we reserve the right to remove content that does not comply with the Community Guidelines. If you encounter content or communications that violates these guidelines, we encourage you to utilize the resources outlined in the last section of this document.

Please make sure to read these guidelines carefully. Excessive violation of the guidelines can result in an account restriction from the InfusionSoft User Community. This forum is open only to registered and logged in users.

Code of Conduct

It’s important to conduct yourself with respect. Here are the expectations that all InfusionSoft Community users are held to:

The Golden Rule
In this board (and out in the world) this means, “Treat others as you wish to be treated.”

The Grandma Rule
Don’t type anything in this board that you wouldn’t say in front on your grandma! Please keep everything to a PG rating.

Language
Derogatory, defamatory or foul language is not acceptable on this forum. Only very mild expletives are permitted in a civil nature. Please use your best judgment.

Harassment
Do not harass, abuse or threaten another user. If you disagree with someone, respond to the subject, not the person. Threatening, offensive, obscene or aggressive types of remarks are not permitted.

Impersonation
Do not impersonate any person, business or other entity. Doing so in an attempt to deceive, harass, or otherwise mislead another user is prohibited. You may not pretend to be an employee or representative of InfusionSoft or any of the InfusionSoft family of companies or affiliates.

Note: InfusionSoft employees will be designated with the appropriate “Admin” or “Infusionite” below their avatar.

General Posting Rules

Posting Language
This forum is an English-only language. Non-English messages are subject to removal. If you would like to converse in another language, please use Private Messages.

Spam/Commercial Solicitation
If the same message is posted numerous times - it is considered “spamming.” Do not post the same message more than once. Duplicate messages will be removed, with the first message remaining. Any messages that are egregiously promoting commercial services, or have the intent to solicit users unnecessarily are not permitted

Thread Titles
We recommend you write descriptive, helpful topic “subjects” for other users. Descriptive topics make your getting a response more likely. If a thread title is too broad in nature, it may be renamed to better accurately describe the contents of the thread by a moderator for an administrator. (For example, “Adding new users…” in lieu of “Help”.)

Religion and Politics
These are sensitive subjects and we ask that religious and political discussions are only permitted in the designated “off topic” discussion area. Please read the guidelines in those areas for more information. (At this time, off-topic forums are not available.)

Word Case
ALL CAPS: Please do not use all capital letters. In the online world this is considered shouting.
all lower case: All lower case is difficult to read. If you are writing a message that has more than one sentence, you should use proper capitalization. This makes it easier for people to read your message.

Punctuation/Form
This is a message board, not a chat room. Using proper punctuation and capitalizing the first word in a sentence makes reading your post much easier. Please take time to properly compose your post(s). It is acceptable to use abbreviation where appropriate, but be mindful of all users experience levels.

Illegal Activity
Discussions promoting/glorifying topics that are unlawful, illegal or can potentially cause undesired risk to users or a client is strictly prohibited. This includes, but not limited to: tactics to maliciously circumvent spam filters, abuse of third-party network services, copyright infringement, etc. InfusionSoft and their employees intend to uphold the integrity and practices of all marketers and growing businesses, and for this reason these topics are not allowed.

Reporting Objectionable Content
If you read a post in our forum that you feel violates these guidelines please contact one of the moderators using the “Report to moderator” link. This will automatically send a notification to all moderators who manage a particular forum for further review. Optionally, you may send a note describing the situation to Joseph Manna (joseph.manna@infusionsoft.com).
