I can see that custom fields can be added for contacts, etc. - but what about at the product level?
We need to add a few custom fields at the "Product" level. Two fields should be shown to customers in the cart - ie. "MSRP" and "Measurements." We need to add another field: "Cost" (our cost of acquisition) for each product - that should NOT be shown to customers but used for reporting purposes.
How would we go about doing this?
Should we try to add the fields when importing?
How can we import the inventory quantity? I'd rather not go through each of about 500 products to update the quantity on hand manually.
