Hey everyone, it's Scott Martineau, the founder of Infusion Software. Welcome you to the Bliss forum, and thank you for taking time to participate!
If you've been a member of the Infusion family for very long, you probaly know that Infusion "bootstrapped" it's way onto the map. One of the side effects of that was that we weren't able to invest in our product research, planning and design the way we would have liked.
Recently, we closed a 9.2MM venture capital financing round, with one of the key objectives being to simplify and improve the product.
I gladly took the position of VP of Product Management, because I honestly feel like the MOST important thing I can do for you is to turn this product from what it is today into what you need it to be.
We have a big job ahead of us, and I'm excited for the changes you'll be seeing, especially over the next 6 months. I'd encourage all of you to actively participate on this forum.
We want to hear from you... we need to hear from you. Tell us what hurts so we can make the pain go away!

The way that the voice message (to voice mail) [doesn't] work is pretty painful.
Any plans to make it actually deliver correctly?
Also, the inability to merge the contact record on to the fax cover sheet is pretty painful.
Lack of Outlook integration is a huge weakness. My business world is on my blackberry...but there is a huge disconnect (i.e. I can't use the calendar feature, tasks don't integrate, email doesn't automatically sync.)
The application is slow, and it is very memory intensive. My 3GB MacBook Pro runs out of memory during a long user session.
In many places the place you start is not the place you return. (It appears save & search is a workaround in some places, but that does not exist everywhere.)
The above issues make it impossible for me to use what I think would be otherwise extremely valuable features -- in an incredible tool.
A nice feature would be an IVR link that lets you put someone in a campaign using your phone while on the road -- and while we're on that topic, a FREE (to the prospect) Recorded Message back-end would be really nice. (Example: if an email could merge a mailbox number and a phone number "Call 800-555-1212 x 555 for a recorded message") and your back-end could handle that call, track the effectiveness of the campaign, and alert the owner that a call came in (AND attach a voice message to their record!) How could would that be?
I've got to tell you overall, I'd rate your tool as one of the best I've ever used...but this is my response to your post about how to make it better...
