...because it is so pertinent to what I am working on next month. I even put up a post at the end of the thread asking if someone is already providing an Infusionsoft driven membership solution before I go ahead and have one created.

Can you tell us if you (Infusionsoft) have plans to create one or if you have a team in mind whom you are working with to provide an integrated solution that you will end up endorsing?

You don't have to tell us the details if you are not ready to do so yet. Please though if you are working away on a solution, can you give us a guideline on a timeframe; are we talking weeks, months or many months?

Also what is the company policy on charging, likely to be? Would it be an additional costed add-on to the monthly or a setup fee?

I am not planning on holding you to anything, I am interested so that I can make an educated decision about what we do as a company; sit and wait or plough on and do it ourselves.

The term "membership solution" is a tall order...

I am not trying to steal the thunder from any reply Infusionsoft may provide, but it would be difficult for them to provide a universal solution.

They cannot be expected to provide a solution that would fit Joomla, Wordpress or straight PHP site. It would mean that they would have to provide a solution similar to what MemberGate has. That would also mean no flexibility, no plugins. No thanks!

And If what GetReservoir has done is any sign of what a MemberGate type solution could cost, then "No thanks!" again.

Other than that, Infusionsoft, in and of itself, already provides most of the functionality needed to create, manage and maintain a membership site.

Blowing my own horn... right now, you can get a Wordpress-based solution for very little money, giving you all that Infusionsoft has to offer as well as all the superb content management that comes with Wordpress - and a number of extras along the way.
