I had a question for everyone.

We are in the process of learning IFS and wanted to start a program where we can track all of the sales that our In House Sales People initiate.

We have 3 main variables on how we pay out a commission to a sales person:

1 set percentage for a Service Sales
2 a bonus is a Sales Person sells the Service program and is paid in full at the time of the sale
3 set percentage for a Product Sale

I tried creating an Affiliate Program in IFS but it will only work if the person is not associated with our company. Even if this would work, we have over 70 product types and over 200 services that we do and new events (Which we create as SKU's) are added every day and it is clear to me that we would ave to assing a percentace of commission for every service and product we have.

Can IFS help me track sales accurately.

You should be able to create Affiliate records for Users in your system. Then you can track their commissions the same as if they were affiliates not associated with your company.

If I do this then, will they still be able to use our POS/IFS Virtual Terminal to process sales while they are logged on as Employee's on our System?

or should we designate a separate terminal?
