If you read a little further down, you'll see that I was with 2CO.com. They're okay, can't complain, they treated me well over the years.
My issue was that I needed a payment gateway that was integrated in Infusionsoft and 2CO.com isn't.
In addition to that, I live overseas.
So...
Powerpay.biz treated me as if I was criminal.
Authorize.net wasn't interested and kept passing me downline to some of their resellers, with the transaction charges and setup fees increasing at every step. All to no avail or success. Then they billed me $187.00 for not being able to set me up with a merchant account.
At some point, I ran into Durango Direct. They are affiliated with Network Merchants (NMI) and, as such, they are integrated into Infusionsoft.
Bingo, that was my solution.
Of course, they don't only cater to overseas merchants. So anyone in the States can use them as well.
They were exceedingly friendly and helpful. As I was dusting off all my old scripts and converting over to them, they provided support at every turn.
What impressed me is that, although I am overseas, they are not trying to kill me with their rates, as did 2CO.com, charging me 5.5% + $0.30.
With Durango, I'm below 3%, which is unusual for an overseas merchant. That's friendly and fair.
If anyone is looking for a hassle-free merchant account, fully integrated into Infusionsoft, I can recommend them - and highly so.
