Im reading the infusionsoft manual and it is talking about adding "companies" and in the manual there is a tab "Companies" next to the "People" tab, but I do not have that tab in my control panel. I have an "Affiliates" tab, does that take the place of companies?

You need to enable your settings under set-up. You as the admin need to turn on all access and functionality to your app under settings-user-edit permissions for your user account as an admin. Everything must be enabled to yes and edit so that you have access to all functionality, be sure to save your work. You'll also want to enable plug-ins for sales, etc.
setup-misc settings-application settings-plugins, enable to yes and save. Hope this helps.

Yea that did it. I wonder why the Admin account wouldnt already have everything enabled as default.
