I think what you're asking is:
How do you send an invoice receipt to the end-user when they fill out a custom sale form?
The answer:
You'll have to create an email template for that sale form, and then send it using the "On Success" action set. You won't have access to any charge/payment information, though. The one-step cart, however, WILL send that information.
