I have integrated the infusion into our existing system, but we'd like to add a functionality that we want to mailing opt-in checkbox in our Registration page, if the user checked the opt-out value, that means he would Not be Notify.(but I don't want to remove it from infusion) I don't know exactly how this works in Infusion. I believe there is some way to tag a person as "E-mail Opt Out", but I don't know exactly how this works through the API.

Currently, there's not any way to control a contact's opt-in/out status through the api. We do, though, have the ability to have a person be opted out of email, but still remain in the system for other types of marketing.
