Good point Joe!
I wholeheartedly agree. This is a sleazy practice when done incorrectly. The fact is people are doing it anyways and most learn quickly enough through either spam complaints or charge backs or simply not being able to convert on leads who are angry at being contacted by them to keep disclosure totally transparent.
2 years ago this wasn't the case, today I think most companies are on top of that. The people we've implemented it for had both the lead buyer and the lead seller worried about full disclosure. That's a great sign that quality in this market is up.
I'll be sure to put in an extra emphasis on disclosure for the clients purchasing this solution. Especially since I just like you don't want anyone "peeing in the pool".
On another note Joe, a CMAC was asking me how to get leads posted to Infusionsoft that he captures through seminars or whatever into his CRM without having to enter them manually. I wonder if you guys would want this script, I'll give it to yoiu free of course, or if you could make your own. I think all CMAC's would benefit from not having to go do manual entry for their leads once they've generated them into their system.
