I'm thrilled to hear that sales and traffic are through the roof by using Infusionsoft. I'm impressed that you've outgrown your traditional "small business shell" to grow!
I'd recommend from my Web hosting experience, that a Virtual Dedicated server will greatly improve the control and the performance needed for your clients without the expense of a fully-dedicated, private server.
Personally, I wholly recommend
Dreamhost because they are affordable and offer private hosting plans, as needed. Their support is fantastic and all my issues with them have been resolved in less than a day. Feel free to contact me (private message) and I can help you get hooked up with them.
However, just want to point out that Infusionsoft does not have any preference over what servers clients can use. We recommend that clients compare and consult a technical resource when deciding which server. As far as APIs are concerned, we generally like the free and commanding nature of Apache, but it isn't necessary when mulling over those decisions.
For automating HTTP-POST traffic, we encourage clients to look for a Web host that enables "cURL" as its secure, fast and fits in really well with our API services.
