We ran an Internet Marketing workshop for our (B2

clients, and 2 things happened:
1. Numbers we down even though workshop and marketing were better - about 50% lower registrations
2. Attendant drop outs were up 30%
We believe that it wasn't the cost, as it was actually lower, but instead it the time out of the office which was the biggest problem, some even sacrificed their paid ticket not to come. We also had a lot of decision makes deciding to send a staff member instead.
Colleagues who ran a similar workshop but B2C, had same number of attendants, but lower sales at the end of the 4 days.
